Collector Correspondence
My name is Christos Vayenas, and I work closely with E.C. Baugh as lead studio curator for his work.
I want to take a moment to share this small group of paintings with you before they are seen more broadly. What you’re seeing here is a constellation of continued works from Baugh’s Iceland series and other selected works recently released from the studio. The first group of Iceland studies from this body of work has already been placed with collectors, and these paintings represent the next moment in that evolving series.
We felt these pieces might resonate with you, so I wanted to walk through them and share a bit about the thinking behind the work.
We’ve begun sharing this small group with a few collectors whose sensibilities feel aligned with the work, and often these conversations unfold naturally as each piece finds the place it is meant to live.
If one of these works resonates strongly with you, I would be glad to continue the dialogue and share more context around the painting and its paired record.
Thank you for taking the time to spend a moment with them.
