Haunted Expressionism
Baugh’s most recent work takes a wider view of life, landscapes, figures and movement and forces the viewer to experience moments through a haunted fog of expressionistic strokes.

A sky full of wings... or a mind full of thoughts.
I wonder if it's the same thing.
When I was very young I used to lay on a boulder of sandstone in my back yard and watch the birds.
I watched their movements on tree branches and high in the thin mountain air sky, sometimes seeming to be erratic and irrational and other times they flowed together as a single unit.
I used to imagine that birds carried our thoughts and wishes out to the universe, some to be realized and others abandoned or lost or shot down by a hunter. Or maybe some thoughts landed on others or maybe they simply just formed into a morning song.
I still think about this sometimes.
